Are you on DiVA?

DiVA is the database of Jönköping University for publication of all dissortations, thesises and reports in full text. In this database all research publications written by researchers at the University are also presented. 

Make sure all your publications is to be found in DiVA. If they are not, and you don't know how to get them there, please contact Ida Serneberg.  

Apply for fundings
If you want to or if you are currently doing research that may have impact on technical equipment for people with disabilities, you may apply for fundings from Promobilia. Next application due date is not until April 24th 2009; but remember to start in time. Read more on Promobilia website (in Swedish).

Jönköping Big CHILD meeting on Wednesday 3rd of December til Thursday 4th of December 


On Wednesday the 3rd of December and on Thursday the 4th of December the CHILD consortium will all gather in a Big CHILD meeting in room Ha108 (Art studio) at School of Education and Communication in Jönköping. Together we will introduce our current research projects, discuss future strategies, vision and ideas.  The meeting will be held in Swedish and the schedule is as follows:

Write your research summary

Mats and Ida are updating CHILD annual report, the website and other material. They therefore need a summary of your current research. Please send your written research summary (300-400 words) to ida.serneberg@hlk.hj.se as soon as possible. If you already have an accruate published on our current web page, please let Ida know. Please note that this task concerns all CHILD participants, doctoral students as well as professors. 
 

CHILD news

Tobias Edbom and Mats Granlund, together with Paul Lichtenstein and Jan-Olov Larsson recently published "ADHD Symptoms Related to Profiles of Self-Esteem in a Longitudinal Study of Twins". You find the abstract on CHILD webpage.    

Karina Huus is defending her doctoral dissertation "Weight gain in children - possible relation to the development of diabetes" on February 13th 2009 in Qulturum at Ryhov hospital in Jönköping. Staffan Jansson is opponent.
